Ring Sustainability Report
I designed the 2023 Sustainability Report for Ring Container Technologies, a privately held, multinational corporation focused on finding sustainable solutions for the consumer packaging industry.
The priority for this project: a clear, easy-to-read report. I used Ring’s 2022 Sustainability Report as inspiration for the design.

The 2023 Year-in-Review is a highlight of this report.
Not only does this page provide a succinct and visually appealing summary of Ring’s accomplishments within the report, but it can also be used on its own, promoted singularly on Ring’s website or on social media.
More on my design thought process for this page:
Accomplishment Categories: The page is divided into three distinct sections: Innovation, Environmental Stewardship, and Community Engagement, facilitating the information for the viewer. Even if the viewer does not read each accomplishment, they can quickly understand the three main categories Ring has excelled in. The sections are broken up by the yellow uppercase heading AND white line.
Blue Background: Typically, clients want the Year-in-Review page to stand out. One way for this page to stand out is to make the background dark while the rest of the report has a white background. The background of this page is a photo of one of Ring’s production lines, which I heightened the contrast of and made cooler in color. I then applied an overlay of Ring’s blue.
Logos and Text: It was important for the accomplishments to be uniform in a way that is easy on the eye but also distinguishable from one another. To do this, I added all the logos in grayscale/white and aligned all the text horizontally.
